Master's Degree Ahoy! |

I can't believe it. Your I took my last class this fall for my Masters Degree and for a Principals license. All I need to do it is three more things, 1. My Internship, 2. My portfolio documenting all my experiences, and 3. Take the Colorado Principals Test. It has been quite a journey for me the last few years and a program has been good for me. I'm grateful to have a moment of peace where I don't have to be taking courses from 4:00 until 10:00 on Mondays and Wednesdays or all day Saturday. And I don't miss cramming or reading or writing at the last minute. With my current job situation, I am not sure what the timing will be to be a principal but the opportunity is always there and the door's always open. |

A Minor Repair |
All little bit about porch. We have a small problem the porch on house just happened be falling away from the House. Since the House is just the mere 100 years old and seemed only fair, so my dad and I started to remove different pieces and parts of the porch. As we tore up boards and nails we continued to bare more and more problems. This minor repair was actually going to be a total replacement. Well what we ended up with in the end was quite incredible and cool. The whole front of the house looks great. With a new redwood deck, a new hand railing I created with my own two hands (well with routers and all kinds of other neat tools), and a nice coat of paint, along with the rest house, it looks quite stunning! So please come by, join us in our sky chairs and for a latte, and enjoy the porch. |

Kaitlyn and Daddy:
I got a wonderful opportunity to do an art class with Kaitlyn this summer. We went to class every week tried out a new technique and or a new type of painting, drawing, or pottery! The class was at Bemis Art school and we came up with some wonderful works of art. We even use the pottery that we made in class for serving dishes. After the class ended we went to the Garden of Gods and drew the Kissing Camels from a special spot we can hike to. I would like to do this more and it's one my goals for the coming year! |

Mikeala and Daddy: Mikaela never ceases to amaze me with her logic and problem solving... She reminds me a of me when posed with a problem... We also love to tickle and wrestle and she is now riding on the Alley Cat (the tag-along bike I hook to mine) and doing great! She also is the one that has to get at least 10 hugs and kisses before I get out the door in the morning. The Sacrifices a father makes... =-) |

Courtney and Daddy:
My face lights up when hear the coordinator say "Daddy" She does a little shuffle dance and runs up to me and grabs me! What in the world could be more incredible? She also is definately got this stubborn, survival mentality... It is scary how well she keeps up with us all! |

All the Girls: Since I am surrounded by girls... I am treated pretty special in my house... I daily thank God for the wonders of life and the blessings of this family!

What do I say about work? I still work in technology at District 11 doing things that I never imagined I would do. In the last year I have trained all employees in our District (a mere 3000+ folks) live via cable channel, I have written, produced and acted in many training video tapes, I convinced our District Superintendent to dress up in wacky hippie clothes for a video, and I helped implement plans for many other major technology projects. But my crowning moment so far this year might have to be the full implementation of my MacAquarium that I built four years ago. My friend and original MacPlus was re-purposed, gutted, and now has a Betta swimming (not floating) around in it. |

Church Journey Continues... |
At church this year has been quite a growing experience. I am serving my last year as senior warden for the parish (President of the board of directors) and loving serving the church. We're growing the only numbers but in faith, which brings on some interesting challenges and opportunities. In addition Jennifer and I have been heavily involved in the Sunday school and youth this year. We recently ran a youth retreat, and had 15 teens attended. Topic was great for those of you who have read the Chronicles of Narnia! We did the voyage of the Dawn Treader and how we can be redeemed despite our desire to be dragons. |
